Kentucky Waterfalls & Hiking Trails
Kentucky, known for its rolling hills and scenic beauty, is home to a plethora of waterfalls scattered throughout the state. While not as renowned for its waterfalls as some of its neighboring states, Kentucky boasts an impressive array of cascades, many of which are nestled within its rugged mountains and scenic natural areas.
The eastern part of the state, where the Appalachian Mountains stretch into Kentucky, is home to a concentration of waterfalls. In addition to the more well-known waterfalls, Kentucky is also home to numerous smaller, lesser-known cascades scattered throughout its rural countryside. Many of these waterfalls are located on private property, but can be accessed with permission from landowners or through guided tours.
